Web Design and eBusiness Marketing Tip # 1

Check Internet Resources in Advance to See if You have a Good Internet Business idea.

While having a web site has become standard business practice. It is extremely important before you start developing the plans for your web site, to calculate if you will get a good response, for your kind of business on-line. There isn't a crystal ball to do this, but there are important indicators to see if your digital business will become a success. Success for different web sites is different. However, if you intend to sell some products or services on-line, you need to see if there is a pre-existing demand for your products or services on the Internet. Use Pre-Sales to Jump Start Your Digital Business.

My favorite technique is to finance your business with pre-sales. If you have a good product sell it on Ebay, Amazon (in a Zshop) , Ubid, or Half.com. If you have a great service try listing it with Elance, Creative Moonlighter, or Guru.com. By first trying to sell your products or services in these marketplaces you will get a good idea how successful your business will be on-line. These are great ways to finance your business by selling your products on these web site marketplaces, before you invest a few thousand bucks in an E-business web site, or even larger capital expenditure in a traditional business. These marketplaces will help you get an advanced indication of how viable your business idea is on-line. A good place to learn how to sell via auctions is Stephanie McIntrye's E Sales Unlimited. Stephanie makes about $150,000 dollars on Ebay and teaches a course to do so in New Jersey. I am trying to encourage her to run a class on-line in a webinar or telecourse. Know the Purpose of your site in advance!

Determining the focus and purpose of your web site is essential to becoming successful on the web. You have to ask yourself: what is the most wanted response (Most Wanted Response) I need from my site visitors. Your Most Wanted Response is crucial to the success of your web site. After developing the marketing plan of your e business, and your unique selling proposition or point (USP), you should recognize and develop your most wanted response (MWR). Web Marketing Tip # 5 - You Need a Backup Response!

Sure most of us web business people want our sites to first and foremost sell our products and services successfully. However, the problem for most Internet business people will be building up believability and cultivating a business relationship. You will have to build some level or believability before you can establish a sales relationship with your customer. Trust and rapport will have to be established between you and the customer before a business relationship can be established. On-line this is usually done effectively by educating the customer to what you have to offer over time. This is because very rarely will your site visitors buy from you the first time they visit your web site. To see the rest of the article Click Here

Web Marketing Tip # 6 - Understand the Internet Sales Process!

Building trust and rapport in the traditional business world is built by major corporations with advertising, brand building, promotion, public relations, sponsorships, foundations, and grants. Some major corporations spend billions of dollars every year, to build trust and rapport with you and me or the general public. Unless you have deep pockets, you will need to build confidence and later support, from your site visitors in other ways. One of the most effective ways to develop believability, confidence, and later support from your site visitors is to offer some information of value to your target audience or ideal customers. Usually this is done with free newsletters, reports, or e-books. More recently, it is done even more effectively with free special events like webinars, web casts, and tele-courses. "Avoid Turning Off Your Customers"

Since the average web surfer will, only wait 8 seconds for your web page to download (or appear in their browser) it is important to have small file sizes on your web pages so, they download quickly. Most usability experts (persons who study how people like to use the web, and what features on your web site help users become more efficient), suggest files sizes of 25 KB - 50 KB. This is very hard to achieve since, the average JPEG picture could easily be 10-15 KB by itself. This would not take into account other page elements like text, links, and animation. A typical Flash animation could run 100-200 KBs embedded into a web page. To see the rest of the article
